Houston Rapper Obe Noir Murdered In A Gun Violence

The unending string of Gun violence in the U.S. has again claimed the life of another rapper. According to report, the 28-year-old activist and artist Obe Noir was gunned down on Monday the 8 of March 2021 in Houston. Eye Witnesses confirmed to have seen the rapper running down the street as a vehicle drove around the block as if it was chasing him. Two unknown males came out of the car and fired several shots at Obe, who then “fell on the street.”

Trae The Truth who is a fellow Houston rapper reacted to the news on Instagram, writing, “Damn ….. Just lost My Niece Lyric Days ago , Now I just got the call bout you Zay…. U aint Deserve The way they done You…. Rest Easy King …. @obenoir.”

Obe Noir is widely known for his entrepreneurship and community activism which had earned him the alias “Nipsey Hussle of East Texas”. This tragedy follows a string of deadly shootings in Texas and Georgia that saw King Von and Mo3 Killed and several other rappers, Like Benny The Butcher and Bossie Baddaz shot in 2020
