Rick Ross opens Georgia megamansion to film ‘Coming 2 America’ sequel
Rick Ross opened the doors of his massive 235-acre Georgia estate to the cast of the “Coming 2 America,” the movie sequel starring Eddie Murphy.
In a 2019 interview on Atlanta’s Power 96.1 with Nick Cannon — who expressed reservations about the sequel — the 45-year-old rapper revealed that scenes for the movie are being filmed at his home.
“The reason why I’m believing in it so much is because they are filming at my estate in Atlanta,” Ross said. “It’s going to be dope.”
The mogul detailed in an Instagram Live post that he charged producers a rate for simply visiting the estate. Film crews would be able to come and scout his lavish pad, which includes an entire bowling alley.
“It’s not free to come check out the estate. Twenty people are wanting to see it today, every day,” he said in a video in January. “What we do is charge people to come look at it, and there’s still 18 people that want to come a day. So, welcome to the promised land.”
